Mary, You don't specify the platform. If you have Macs, you are in luck. IMovie should have come with them. That and LOTS of hard drive space and LOTS of RAM will help you make a very nice movie. I did one this summer in a class and am very proud of it for a first effort. A firewire connection speeds up the data transfer from camera to computer, finished product back to camera, then connect to a VCR and record on a regular video cassette. You split your video into scenes, change scene order, add transitions and effects, add music from CDs or record voice-over, really very easy and cool. If you mess up, you just go back to your original data and pick it up again. I'm assuming the camera came with the necessary connectors. If you are on PC, you'll have to buy something and hope you have all the necessary hardware or buy that, too. Maybe you know someone with a shiny new Mac. :^) Good Luck, Barbara >It's Saturday 2pm.
