Tar: Find book

["Alana S. Banaszak" <abana@ATTBI.COM>]

This is a tough one.  Our school secretary's mother named her children after
the characters in a children's book.  Her mother is now deceased, so we
can't ask her.  The character's names are Barbara and Bruce and the book
would probably be about 50+ years old.  We would love to surprise her with
at least the title, so any help would be appreciated.  Thanks!
