Kathy,
ClarisWorks has become AppleWorks and the current version (6) is
available for Windows as well as Mac. In Iowa we have a statewide agreement
with Apple that provides VERY reasonable prices. While AppleWorks 6 isn't
exactly like ClarisWorks 4 the main components are still there--word
processing, spreadsheet, database, paint and draw. In addition the
communication module has been replaced with a presentation module somewhat
more complete than slide show but certainly not PowerPoint. We are using
AppleWorks 6 on both Mac and Windows platforms in our district.
