I am retiring from my position, as library/media specialist at Ruidoso =
Middle School, in Ruidoso, NM, in June, 2003. Ruidoso has a population =
of 7000 people and is located in South Central New Mexico. It is a =
mountain community with lots of big Ponderosa Pines and a small stream =
running through town. Ruidoso is a tourist town with horse racing in the =
summer and skiing in the winter. The school district is the second =
highest paid in the state. Ron Bennett, the principal here at the mid =
school is excellent and I feel the best I have worked for, and I have =
been in a lot of school districts. We are located about 3 hrs. from =
Albuquerque, NM and 2.5 hrs. from El Paso, TX.
