Here is my original post:
I have consulted numerous sources and can't seem to locate a Japanese =
Cinderella story. I'm collaborating with a social studies teacher who is =
interested in using Cinderella stories from various countries to =
illustrate cultural differences. She really needs Japan to complete her =
unit. Does such a book exist?

Replies:

I was looking through some old magazines and ran across a list of =
Cinderella stories from different countries in the Jan-Mar 1998 Bookbag =
magazine. It has Lily and the Wooden Bowl by Alan Schroeder as a =
Cinderella story from Japan. The list is on pg. 49 if you have that =
magazine. Hope this helps.=20
