Group - I'm a little late in getting my reading done. I was most interested in the article by Carrie Russell, ALA copyright specialist, in the December 2002 issue of "School Library Journal" where she feels schools are within the copyright law to edit videos for content. Has there been discussion/reaction to his on this list that I have missed? I did purchase the edited version of "Glory" for example, but most of the other videos that teachers have wanted have not been available. I realize this might be a slippery slope, but I am interested in any comments you might have.
