I just had to write to brag about my Writing 4 Kids program I am holding at
my public library.
I just had my second one today, and it was so much fun. The classes are
being held on four successive Tuesday afternoons in my public library. Last week
was on biography and autobiography, today was Tall Tales & Urban Legends.
Nest is Newspapers and article writing, then poetry. Each class is filled (24
kids, grades 6 to 12).
And today I had a mom come in to tell me how much her daughter and her
friends love the classes, that they say I am so wacky that it's more like being in a
comedy club than in a writing class. Anyway, I just had to brag.
