TECH: Checking the burning speed when using the CD-burner in XP

If you are using the CD-burning capability of XP, how do you check the =
speed of the burning process?
(I "lost" my Adeptic CD-burning software when I installed XP over ME, =
and Adaptec allowed me to select a recording speed.)
