The AASL KC Conference Committee has begun looking at the proposals for=
 the
Exploratorium (see description below)

y are
fantastic=2E The conference committee is elated at the quality of the
proposals=2E We have almost 40 proposals to consider, but we have room =
for
more=2E As a result, we are continuing to take proposals until 1 August=
=2E

At this point we have a lot of proposals dealing with Reading Enhanceme=
nt,
Collaboration; several on the research process, and Information Literac=
y=2E
We have one on facilities design and one on ethics=2E We're looking for=
 other
topics as well=2E

If you have a great idea that can be shared with 2500 of your best frie=
nds
in a "come and go" presentation format, we encourage you to submit your=

proposal before the new 1 August deadline=2E
Besides, it is fun and rewarding to present at a national conference=2E=
