I'd like to chime in here with Luis. My storage closet is under one of the air conditioner units for my side of our building. My office is under the other unit. When the air conditioning is on (not the heat) and we have a humid and hot day the run off pipes back up and condensation forms and I get a lake on my floors. In my office the maintenence guy rigged up some PVC pipe that allows the run off to go into the sink, but the closet is not near a sink and so we use lots of trash cans. IF your library has air you might want to bring condensation up as a point for them to look at.
