A child from our neighborhood (in NC) was hit by a car while in Conn. As
we learned of the accident, everyone wanted to be able to let the family
know we were praying for them. We also wanted to be kept updated on Alex's
condition. The CaringBridge web site at www.caringbridge.org/index.htm has
allowed us to do just that. When others I have known have faced tragedies
it has been so difficult to keep informed. This free online service allows
the family to update the patient's condition and let friends, family, and
strangers let the family know they are in their thoughts. It says it can
also be used for adoptions and births. I hope this web site can be used by
some of you for spreading good news.
Alex has been in a drug induced coma for a week. People all over the
country are praying for him and his family. If you are interested Alex's
