Why not try photography? Stephen Swinburne has great photography in his
nature theme books. You could get a bunch of cheap cameras (Staples has 8o0 speed
on sale right now for about $2.50) or a few expensive digitals :-) if you
have computer access and the kids could go around taking pictures of nature.
Could be the flower gardens around the school (or wherever you are located) or
trees, ponds, bugs etc.
If you did it early in the week, you could have them developed by the end of
the week. Make collages.
