TARGET: Calendar of Events site - Canadian

BlankI have been searching the archives and watching some recent posts =
with interest regarding sites and/or sources which outline specific =
national observances  (e.g. "National _____ Week/Day").  Understandably, =
most of the responses have been specific to occurrences in the United =
States.

I am looking for something similar that would relate specifically to =
Canadian events (or have a section for Canada) (or even events that are =
celebrated Internationally - but not religious holidays/events).  I'm =
starting work in a high school for the first time and have a showcase =
display outside the library for which I will be responsible from time to =
time.  I was hoping to find some thematic "week" events that I could =
focus on, especially if they relate to literacy/teens/school libraries, =
etc.

Thanks for anything you can come up with.
