scan converter purchase

Hello all,
I am in need of purchasing a new scan converter (something that will =
allow me to display the PC onto a TV). The one I had was working and =
then just stopped.

I am looking into either the AITech Max View and the AITech Web Cable =
Plus.
Does anyone have any experience with either of these?
Does anyone have any other recommendations for purchase?

An unrelated question:  does anyone know why an RCA composite video =
input on a VCR would stop taping in color?  Is there some command that =
was activated or is it just malfunctioning?
