Below is a request for help in identifying a book title from an online =
friend of mine and fellow 'Marine Mom' She has been a wonderful support =
to me since our son was deployed to Iraq. I am hoping someone can help =

ok then ms librarian, maybe you can help me, no one else can. When I was =
a kid, I read a book and the little girl lived in the woods in an acorn =
shell, walnut shell, I dont remember, LOL, but her home was in a tree. I =
loved the book, I can't remember what all else there was but I want to =
read it again, I remember when reading it I could feel the coolness of the =
forest, and love and protection of the animals, etc, and for the life of =
me, my mind is blank. Have you ever come across a book like this, its not =
a preschool book, I'd say it was probably up to age 14, I know I read it a =
couple of times, probably last time close to age 14, which was a generous =
35 yrs ago, LOL
dont break your mind thinking of it but if it comes to you, could you tell =
me?
