LM_NET Archive

When you are replying to a message on LM_NET, please do not include the
original posting in your reply. The LM_NET etiquette guideslines states:

"When replying to an LM_NET message, please do *not* include the entire
message quoted. Paraphrasing or quoting selectively are both kinder to
people's eyes and e-mail boxes and it is also kinder to persons with CTS or
tendonitis. Brevity saves money for those who are paying for their time
online."

Including an original reply may discourage readers, especially those who get
the messages in digest form, because they have to wade through so much to
read the original messages. Sometimes there are even replies to replies in
a message which can make the posting extremely long and difficult to read.

Please set your email program so that original postings are not included in
your replies or delete the original posting manually before hitting the
"Send" button. Your fellow LM_NET members will appreciate it.
