Netters and Calibers, (cross-posted) This week's Mini Page features books about heroes. Included with the short annotations are full color pictures of the book covers, and brief bits about the authors. A few of the books are about folk heroes: some real, some legendary. This issue could be laminated and posted for students to view, along with a chart listing which books your collection offers and their call numbers. Also a good topic starter for group discussion, personal reflection or as a writing prompt: What is your definition of a hero? Inside is a chart titled "Set a Reading Record this Summer" with 11 different genres represented. Joanne Ladewig, Library Media Technician (A.K.A.
