POST: Gifts for library volunteers

Hi All - Seems like everyone needs cheap and easy gift ideas, but only I received 
one response :( and lots of requests for a posting!
So, I did some of my own digging and here is what I came up with!  Enjoy!

THANK YOU IDEAS

·       A champagne glass (plastic one) filled with Hershey's kisses -- write on 
the glass "A toast to a job well done!"
·       Totebags with logo and school name on one side - decorate with  "thank 
you’s" and drawings by students.
·       Mouse pads with school logo screened on it.
·       Votive candles wrapped in cellophane and tied with a note stating "You 
light up the lives of so many!"
·       Bags of mixed nuts. A note was attached stating, "We would go 'nuts' 
without your help!"
·       Packet of flower seeds "Volunteers help us grow."
·       Mints: This mint represents the fact that each of you is worth a mint. You 
are very special and really make a difference.
·       Photo of him/herself in a matte frame imprinted with a thank you message. 
It certainly showed "we see you" as a volunteer!
·       Use a digital camera and take pictures of the volunteer’s child in the 
library -put the pictures on refrigerator magnets (available at WalMart and other 
discount stores) with a “Thank You” message (Shelley McCoy, Knoxsville, TN)
·       Thousand Dollar Bar (chocolate candy bar) = Thanks! You're worth it!
·       Bookmark with a volunteer poem on the back & a picture of their child on 
the front.
·       Lifesavers “Thanks – you were a life saver this year in the library!”
