Hello,
This past year I applied to and received acceptance into the Fulbright
exchange program. Unfortunately, they did not have a match in the
designated countries of my choice, or in my field of teaching (K-6 library).
I'm wondering if any of the librarians on this listserv have successfully
completed an exchange to another country in the field of librarianship? If
so, when did you go and which country did you live in? I'm very interested
in knowing of your experiences as I have been encouraged to try again next
year but am in doubt as to the availability of placements abroad within this
field.
