Re: Elementary Libraries without a Library Assistant

We just lost our library assistants for the elementary schools and need
some good advice!

My question is.....
If you do not have a library assistant how do you structure your library
program.  What services do you provide?  What services don't you provide
because of you don't have the time?  Do you have a fixed or flexible
schedule?  If it is fixed are you providing planning time for the
teachers.  Do you have time for library management.  What does you
schedule look like?  And any advice you can provide would be greatly
appreciated!

I know that there a lot of questions so just answer the ones you have time
for!
