You can't get much more upbeat than _Philadelphia Chickens_book and cd =
by Sandra Boynton. I think all ages would love this book--even hard =
boiled high schoolers. The reason I reserved it from my local public =
library was because I kept seeing it on the New York Times Children's =
Best Sellers List and wanted to know what all the hub-bub was. This is a =
VERY clever work of art--one that you will want to buy for that special =
kid in your life. I can see this being made into a Broadway show for =
kids (if such a thing exists). I'm from Ohio. Maybe I'm easily =
impressed. Try it. I think you'll like it.
