3M Resensitizers

If you have a 3M security system, perhaps you can help me.  We ;have the
3M Model 2301DM.

I need to purchase a new resensitizer for our 3M security system.  We
have a desensitizer that works--but need a resensitizer that can also
tell us IF the book has a strip that is sensitized.  Since it is highly
likely that we have a lot of books on our shelves without security
strips and/or are not sensitized--we really need one that can tell us
these two things.  We don't have the $$$ for the 3M Bookcheck 955.  I'm
looking at the 3M Resensitzer 764.  The description indicates that "the
green light signals that unit is operating." Does that mean that it is
on or does it mean that it verifies a successfuly sensitized strip?

I called a company that sells these units, and they didn't know.  I
called 3M and the representative to whom I talked couldn't tell me for
sure.

If you know what the green light on the 3M Resensitizer 764
indicates--please let me know!

Also, if you have any other suggestions for sensitizer/desensitizers
for the systems, please let me know.  I found one online from a company
called Vernon Library Supplies that sounds similar to the Bookcheck
955--but about $700 less!
