Off Topic--Medical question

Hi,
    Hope summer vacation has begun for most of you by now.  I talked with a
teacher this morning and her husband is facing heart sugery this summer.
They have not been able to locate anyone who has had a similar surgery and I
told her I would try my friends on LMNET for a possible resource.
    Her husband has an aneurism on his Thoracic aorta (not abdominal aorta)
the doctors are planning on replacing the aorta.  Does anyone know of
someone who has had this surgery?  She would love to have someone to contact
by email or phone to talk about what lies ahead for them.
