I have put keyboards through the dishwasher. When I was faces with cleaning 48 keyboards and thought of swabbing each key individually, I tried this. Put the keyboards in the dishwasher with your regular soap. DO NOT LET THEM DRY THERE WITH THE HEAT ON. We had a hot summer as usual (OOPS, the word is now out about beautiful Seattle summers - no appreciable rain from July through September many years) and I let them dry thoroughly on my deck. When I plugged them in, about 3 didn't work (out of 48) but I was pleased with the results. If you can't figure out another way, I recommend it for quantity cleaning.
