Inventory using Follett's PHD Dolphin scanner

This summer I will be conducting an inventory using Follett's Dolphin
scanner. I have never done it before and the scanners have not even been ordered 
yet.
I would much appreciate any advice if any LMNET members have used the device
for inventory. Were there problems? Pitfalls to be avoided? TIA. Please reply
off list.
