Another idea to go along with the online conference that we might have would
be to ask that each "presenter" during the conference to submit a digital
photo of himself / herself that can be uploaded to a conference website.
Any additional information that would help us to better understand
instructional techniques could also be posted on the temporary website--
"LM_NET Online Conference--2003."

Those individuals who might "attend" could also submit weblinks to their own
libraries or digital photos of themselves, so that we can at least browse
names and "bump into" them while we attended the conference.  We could then
place names with faces and learn a little more about some of the individuals
who submit and lurk online each day.

Just some ideas for making it more personal....while productive and
inexpensive!
