I would like the idea of a virtual conference and I hate to say "BUT" but.. One problem with "virtual conferences" and online chats is the "time zone" factor. The LM_NET community is a world wide one. Any real time conferencing has to be flexible enought to accommodate people from across the time zones. I have tired several of the conferences and chats both generally and with my district. In order to get everyone on it tooks such time scheduling, with some on extremely early in the morning and some on very last in the afternoon. While it is certaily doable, it does make it very hard to be a real virtual conference. If the conference isn't "real time" it makes it easier for world wide participation but then isn't that what we have via LM_NET now? Just my thoughs. Deborah Stafford Gen. H.H.
