I feel for your situation.  I have had to restore from my zip backup and
that was scary enough.  Now I am in the situation that our tech department
is backing up on a tape and I use a script file to backup as recommended by
Winnebago.  It backs up onto the server itself.  This makes me nervous, but
I do not have access to the new server. Anyway, I worry about being in the
same situation.

I am wondering if a printed shelf list with barcode, author, title and call
# could be used to restore the MARC records??? I have always updated this
once a year.  Maybe I should add ISBN #.  Although I sometimes use this list
to tweak our collection , this is the only important reason I can see for
keeping a shelf list.

I would at least call Follett and ask their recommendation.  I have found
that some technicians are reluctant to ask advice. Follet is  the real
expert when it comes to their software.
