SEC: Resources on Teen volunteers and making web sites

I am a graduate student working on a project for my YA Literature class.  I
am looking for resources in any format that promote teens and volunteering.
I am also looking for sources that would have reviews of web page
development books appropriate for my targeted age range, 10th -12th grades.
