I was just forwarded an e-mail from one of my teachers. The original e-mail is from a mother of a sailor aboard the USS Anzio. Apparently she asked the Command Master Chief of the ship how she and the other families could help support the efforts of her son and the other sailors. She was given directions about sending cards and greetings so that each and every sailor receives mail from home during their long deployment. The directions specify that individual names of sailors can not be given out, but notes and cards can be sent to the ship and they will be given to those who don't have their own mail. So my question is: where can I find the names and addresses of other ships besides this one? Perhaps you have a family member who is away. I'd like to make a list for our LM_NET schools to have. I'll make a hit of any responses I receive. Please don't reply to the whole list!!!
