Help with student teaching

All,

I have been subscribing to this listserv for about a year.  I am in my second
year as a Media Specialist.  Prior to this I worked in a public library.  I
have an MLIS and half of a Master's in Elementary Education.  Some years ago,
before my kids, I worked in a private school as a nursery/Kindergarten
teacher.  The state vacillated and finally decided that they would not accept
my private school experience as student teaching and is requiring me to
complete student teaching in a regular elementary classroom to allow me to
obtain my full media certification.  I am on leave doing so at this moment.
I know this request is outside the norm and I will understand if it is never
placed on the listserv, but I really need some help here.  If ANYONE would be
willing to e-mail me with suggestions, guidelines, support so I can get
through this student teaching experience I would be very grateful.  Please
send any e-mails to my other account below.
