If you go to the HELP tab in Spectrum=2C and type in HOW TO COPY AND PAST=
E=2C it gives you the step by step instructions for downloading from LC=2E=
Another suggestion was to skip the download completely and copy and paste=
the record=2E Here=27s how=3A
Once you find the record you need
1=2E=A0 hit =22Marc Record=22
2=2E=A0 Use your cursor to highlight all of the record or what you need (=
I usually don=27t include the 900 tags)
3=2E=A0 Hit the =22Control=22 and =22C=22 keys on your keyboard to copy t=
he record=2E
4=2E=A0 Go to the Spectrum =22Materials Edit=22 screen (I have both open =
at the same time and toggle between the two)
5=2E=A0 Set new material number
6=2E=A0 Hit new record button
7=2E=A0 Switch to the Marc record view (5th button from the left)
8=2E=A0 Hit =22Control=22 and =22A=22 keys (highlights all of current emp=
ty tags)
9=2E=A0 Hit =22Control=22 and =22V=22 keys to paste the record
10=2E=A0 Voila!
11=2E=A0 Go into =22Holdings=22 screen (6th button from left) to complete=
your record=2E
