TECH: Paying to print

We are looking at ways to cut down on the number of print jobs that get
printed but never picked up.  We are looking at the way many
universities do it with student ids.  The print job queues up but won't
print until the copies are paid by swiping the student id card.  Does
anyone use this and if so, can you put me in touch with a
manufacturer(s)?  We want to research this first.
