My principal and I have been following the progress of our students this = year, and notice some classes participate much more in AR than others. = While discussing ways to boost these classes' performance, he considered = requiring students to test on all AR books checked out. Does your = school do this? If not, how do you determine which books students are = allowed to test on? I have seen the parental reading logs, but we would = like to keep this decision within the school, if possible. =20 If your teachers aren't really behind the program, are there any ways = you've managed to get them more involved? We are in the process of = wiring the school, and soon teachers will be able to access AR in their = classrooms. =20 At the moment, however, students must take tests in the library or = computer lab. I've set up additional testing times, but not every class = is taking advantage of these times. So I end up with 14 kids all needed = to take multiple tests on 4 computers in the last 10 minutes of library = time. I"ll be glad to post a hit if anyone is interested.
