I'm giving in. Although I'm the un-librarian, I still do the book ordering. My favorite English teacher approached me today about adding to our tattered collection of Great Illustrated Classics. She has grades 6-8 reading them for their monthly book reports so they will be ready for the real thing in high school. Are there any other series of abridgements I could offer her as an alternative? Thanks for whatever.
