Hello, Although I have been a classroom teacher for over 20 years, this is my = first year as a librarian. (I have an emergency certificate and am = working on my permanent one.) I work at three different schools K-6. I = was just informed that a computer lab (25) is going to be put in the = library of one of my schools. (I am there 2 days a week.) I am = thrilled about this, although it is definitely going to be a little = crowded, but manageable. Never having worked with students in a lab = setting (We won't always be using the computers, but I would like to = take advantage of them whenever possible.) I was wondering if anyone = else is in a similar situation (or if you can identify an expert that I = could email) and what advice you would have to offer me with regards to = how to make the best possible use of it, tips, any definite no-no's. Thank you, Kathy Kathy Chappel, Librarian Corry, PA kchappel@westpa.net =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-==-=-=- All LM_NET postings are protected by copyright law.
