Our school system is considering the construction of a new facility that
would link two buildings that compose a single high school for about
2500 students and 150 teachers. Currently, we have a library in each of
the two buildings. We have been asked to dream. For those of you who
have recently gone through the construction/rennovation process, what
did you ask for that you now wonder how you ever lived without? What
SHOULD you have asked for that you didn't? What did you request but
wasn't included and you still wish it had been? What mistakes did you
make in your plans as well?
In addition, are there any high tech schools in northern
Indiana/Chicago area that we could visit to get ideas and talk with
staff sometime in the next month and a half?
