Can anyone give me the proper etiquette on an anniversary invitation we received. My Aunt and Uncle are celebrating their 35th anniversary this summer. Their kids are having a surprise party. We just got the RSVP form for the dinner, and how much it will cost us. We will be traveling almost 2 days to get there, and spending money on motels at least 3 nights. My sister says it is tacky for them to charge us for the dinner?? What is the proper etiquette on this, or is the a BOOK that I could look in???? Please reply off the list. THANKS!!
