Had I remained at elementary, this was going to be one of my next
goals (or at least something similar). I make no restrictions on check-out
and prefer "traditional" shelving for the most part. But for my particular
school and my particular students, I felt we really needed a different
system for access to the beginning reader types of books. I had visions
of book bins as you describe.... and felt it would be a positive
solution.
