The information from the representative I worked with is that the bill is dead. He does not believe there is even enough support to bring the bill up to the committee for a vote. :-) (make that <big smile>) In reiteration -- the way to defeat legislative mandates for filtering is, I believe, not by focusing on the overblocking but to focus on the false promise of protection, the need to promote engagement with youth and transmission of skills and values, and the lack of public disclosure and accountability.
