I originally saw this news story online
(http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,85594,00.html) and noticed toward the
end of the article that the textbook publishers admit to being "in a
bind." If they don't adopt the changes made by large states like Calif.
and Texas they will suffer economically. So maybe it is the school buyers
who need to shove their weight around a litte. However, there are those
who support the changes claiming they don't like to see any stereotyping.
Frankly, I think it's PC run amok.
Just my 2 cents..
