Partial Hit: Anti-spam filters and xupiter.com

Hi folks,

I'm getting in some good info on the anti-spam filters and will post a hit
on that later.  In the meantime, I have solved my own problem with
xupiter.com and (I hope) the popup ad problem I was having.  Today, when I
was forced into xupiter.com's homepage and couldn't get out, I went to their
FAQ's link at the bottom of the page.  There, I found instructions for
uninstalling their program.  Hesitantly (because I don't trust those folks)
I followed the directions and it worked!  Or at least it seems to have so
far.  I haven't gotten a popup in over two hours.  So far, I haven't been
forced back to their site, either.
