Actually we've tried to do this somewhat with limited success. I still would carry copies of all the books in the library which any student could check out. It was just that teachers should not read aloud to their class another grade level's title. The problem was most difficult in getting elementary teachers to not read books that the middle school teachers wanted to use. John Lees John Lees, Librarian Mt. These are books that are 'read aloud' to classes. Teacher's must choose from the list for their grade level and won't be able to deviate from the list. We've been asked to provide feedback and I'm curious how others feel about this practice. I'm personally against it. thanks, chuck finnigan, LMS Central Elem Sedro Woolley, WA cfinnigan@swsd.k12.wa.us =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-==-= All LM_NET postings are protected by copyright law.
