Now is a good time to consider nominating an Administrator of one of our
Awards.
While not a requirement for the nomination, the committee this year, for
conference planning purposes, would appreciate a heads up [now is not too
soon] regarding your intent to nominate a candidate for a WLMA Award. It is
the expectation of the Association that a candidate be recognized in each
category.
Categories for WLMA Awards are:
WLMA Elementary School Principal of the Year
WLMA Middle/Junior High School Principal of the Year
WLMA High School Principal of the Year
WLMA Supervisor of the Year
WLMA Superintendent of the Year
WLMA Special Award [for Friends of the Library] - not given every year.
The deadline for submitting a nomination is July 1.
