I received the solution to my digital picture distortion problem. I had = asked what would cause digital pictures in a PowerPoint slide show to = look like they had been colored with a crayon or watercolors.=20 The problem was that the computer's color palette setting needed to be = changed from 16 bit to 32 bit (millions of colors). Here is how to = change the setting on a PC.=20 1. Right-click on the desktop and select Properties. 2. On the Display Properties dialog box, select the Settings tab. 3. Under Color quality click on the drop-down arrow and select Highest = (32 bit). Click Apply then OK. I also found this website that gives a good explanation of colors on a = computer. How many colors are there? http://www.upenn.edu/computing/group/dmp/technical/colors/how_many.html Thanks to the LM_Netter's who took the time to answer my question. As = they say, "You learn something new every day."
