TAR:film on "bad-boy" "good-boy"

Dear colleagues -

One of our teachers is trying to build some substance into "That was then
this is now" - she would like to show a film in which two protagonists, one
good, one "bad" vie with each other, much as the characters in the book.

Does anyone have a suggestion?  Movies are not my strong suit.
