English and Math wishlist (High School)

Dear Awesome List,

I have a high school english teacher who would like me to purchase two
books for the library.  She would like a book that would be similar to
"Writing research paper for Dummies".  Is there some type of basic writing
book that is easy and fun for high school students.

Her other request is a book about what a literary criticism is and how to
write one.  Any suggestions?


The math instructor would like unusual problem solving book.  Suggestions?
