Often, we find that disks will read on some of our computers but not on = others. Similar errors with student disks, not recognized - do you want to format etc... My theory is that the disks were formatted in MS DOS. Windows 2000 and XP need FAT 32. Different file systems - Win 2000 and XP do not like the older format. So make sure all disks are formatted on 2000 or XP machines so they are backwards compatible to Win 98. M.F.
