Help! I am in a small rural community and our school's population is at =
least 95% white. We just received word that we will have a kindergarten =
student next year who speaks only Spanish. I want to be sure I have =
appropriate library materials for him and also for the students who will =
be getting to know him. The teachers also want to know of any materials =
that would help them as far as read-alouds in class, lesson materials, =
etc... Can anyone give me a recommended list of books and/or other =
materials that would be helpful? I have seen some Spanish/English =
dictionaries for lower grades from World Almanac. Does anyone have =
these? I would appreciate any suggestions.
