My daughter Hannah could find that mouse when she was less than six months
old I swear. And she would spit and gurgle and kick her legs at Angus and
the Ducks when she was only about three months old. I have a picture of her
on the living room floor in August--she was born in May. When you'd get to
the part where the ducks would start to HISSSSSS at Angus, she would be
beside herself with anticipation and glee.
This is the same girl who when she was about two, I was showing her the
crescent moon out the kitchen window. Look Hannah, moon, moon. Moon, moon
said she. Where's cow? I've never been able to figure out if she was
googing on me, or if she really thought there should be a cow, thanks to all
those readings of Mother Goose.
